How to Consign

We accept consignments by appointment only.  When dropping off your items, you will be asked to review and sign Dew Drop Resale Shoppe’s Contract.  All items will be reviewed at your appointment. Some items may not be accepted due to condition or demand.  Items that are accepted will remain in the store for the 90 days.

Dew Drop Resale Shoppe operates with two "seasons":  
Spring/Summer includes any items consigned March through July.  They remain in the store until August 31.  
Fall/Winter includes items consigned July through February.  They remain in the store until May 31.

Please understand if we can’t accept some of your items. Our customers’ preferences must be our guidelines. 

Clothing Guidelines

We accept girls' sizes infant through 16 (including half-sizes). 
We accept boys' sizes infant through 12 (including Husky.) 
 
We prefer better name-brand clothing, so these items will be considered first.  However, we will accept many other items if they are in excellent condition. 
 
Clothing must be seasonal:  Tees, tanks, shorts, swimwear, sandals, light jackets, etc., for Spring and Summer.  Long sleeved shirts, sweaters, jeans and corduroys, boots, coats, etc., for Fall and Winter. 
 
Clothing must be clean and freshly laundered:  We will not accept clothing that is stained, soiled, spotted, dusty, smelling of smoke or mildew, or items with lint or pet hair.  Even clean clothing that has been in storage needs to be freshened.  Shoes must be clean (bottoms, too!) and polished. 
 
Clothing must be in good salable condition:  We prefer clothing that shows very little age and wear.  Watch for fading of dark or bright colors.  Knits (sweaters, baby sleepers, even tee shirts) tend to pill or get fuzzy after a few washings.  Decals and appliqués should not be cracked, curled, or peeling.  Knees should not be worn or faded.  Pants should not have frayed hems.  All buttons, snaps, and zippers should be in good working condition.  Velcro should be free of lint. 

Maternity

We accept maternity clothing in all sizes. Recent styles please! Maternity accessories including books, new breast pumps, etc. are also gladly accepted.

Toys Guidelines

Toys must be CLEAN! 
Electronic toys must have fresh batteries.  Games must have all pieces and the original box. 
Books must be in like-new condition.  No dog-ears, creases, rips, water damage, dirt, or writing.   
All bikes must be clean and have their tires pumped up.  
 
Baby Equipment Guidelines

We accept walkers, swings, high chairs, table boosters, strollers, bouncer seats, play pens (pack n play), bath tubs/seats, sleeping/feeding aids, home safety items and more!  Please call if you are not sure.   
 
All items must be CLEAN! Please remove any fabric pads or covers and machine wash them.  Wipe down all surfaces with bleach or a Lysol-type cleaner.  Then put it all back together. 
 
All equipment must have the original manufacturer's label with model number and date code.  Include batteries if needed.  Make sure all parts are included.

Furniture Guidelines   *Please call before bringing any of the following items to ensure we have room*

All furniture must be clean and in good condition, and have the original manufacturer's label with model number and date code.   All furniture, including cribs and toddler beds must be assembled and able to fit through Dew Drop Resale Shoppe’s door.  Please securely attach any extra hardware.    

We also accept bassinettes, cradles, toy boxes, lamps, child-sizes tables, chairs, desks, and small dressers or chests of drawers. 

Items we DO NOT accept:

• Underwear
• Car seats, booster seats (unless unused in original packaging)
• Equipment and toys with missing parts, damaged
• Stuffed animals
• Excessively worn or damaged clothing
• Used maternity swimsuits, nursing bras
• Diaper pails
• Potty seats
• Used breast pumps
• Any recalled item
• DVDs, VHS movies or computer games
• Bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers (unless unused in original packaging)
